Obituary for Adriene Brunson
Adriene Brunson transitioned from Labor to Reward on March 30, 2018 in her residence 937 Chapanoke Road Hertford, North Carolina.
Born in Brooklyn, New York she was the daughter of the late George and Catherine Brunson Washington. Adriene was educated in the public schools of New York and upon graduation she attended college for two years. She moved to Hertford, North Carolina in her adult years and raised he family.
She leaves to cherish her memory; Three Daughters, Kathy Martin (James) of Elizabeth City, North Carolina, Kim Brunson and Tamara Evans (Garrette) both of Hertford, North Carolina. Five Sons; George Brunson and Shawn Evans both of Brooklyn, New York, Clarence Evans of New York, New York, Isaiah Brunson of Hertford, North Carolina, and Vincent Jefferson ( Lenora) of Hampton, Virginia. Nineteen Grandchildren, Fourteen Great Grandchildren. Two Sisters, Ruby Daniels (William) of Baltimore, Maryland, and Sheila Hollis of Brooklyn, New York. One Brother; Stanley Brunson of Baltimore, Maryland.
Funeral celebration will be held on Sunday, April 8, 2018 at 1:00 P. M. in St. Stephen Missionary Baptist Church by Rev. Dr. Ricky L. Banks, Interment will follow in New Oak Grove Cemetery. Viewing will take place on Saturday, April 7, 2018 in the chapel of the funeral home from 4:00 P. M. until 7:00 P. M. The family will receive friends and the funeral procession will leave the home of her granddaughter Ashley Martin 809 Wilson Street, Elizabeth City, North Carolina.
